Coach Donzie Lilly, Head Coach for HHS JV and Varsity Swim and Waterpolo, 2021 Regions Coach of the Year, and graduate of SMU with a degree in Economics. Coach Donzie swam for Hebron High School and club teams ATAC and LAC from 2009-2013. During his career at Hebron, Coach Donzie broke multiple school records and went on to play water polo at SMU.
Coach Donzie's has high expectation of his swimmers, with the goal to send more swimmers to D1 programs, break 10 years old school records, and score in the top 10 at the state meet.
Coach Sarah Carlile comes to HHS after serving as the head swim, dive and water polo coach for Denton Ryan for the last five years while also teaching high school special education for DISD. Coach Carlile swam and played water polo for Denton Ryan and continued playing for a masters team throughout college. Coach Carlile graduated from UNT in 2014 with a degree in speech pathology and audiology. She has been club coach for Thunder Water Polo for 10 years.
While not in the pool, Coach Carlile enjoys spending time with her 3 children and family. Her family enjoys taking their ATV and four wheelers on trails.
Coach Sherry, 2015 Coach of the Year for Girls 1 meter diving, graduated from The College of Mount Saint Vincent and Manhattan College with a BS in PE and an MS in Exercise Physiology from Queens College. She also swam, played volleyball and softball while in college, while participating in club diving. She received two distinguished departmental awards in physical education from both colleges. Coach McGuire taught 2 years in the Yonkers School District and taught Special Needs students at the San Francisco Recreation Center for the handicapped. She has been coaching in LISD for 20 years and has produced eight diving All Americans, 5 All Americans, 12 All State Divers, with three divers advancing to State-- one placing 3rd.
